Privacy Policy

Effective April 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Elias Advisory LLC ("Elias Advisory," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit adamelias.ai (the "Site") or use the tools, assessments, chatbot, and other features offered on the Site (collectively, the "Services").

Elias Advisory LLC is a New Jersey limited liability company providing artificial intelligence strategy, training, and implementation consulting to legal professionals. Elias Advisory LLC is an AI consulting firm, not a law firm. Use of this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Elias Advisory LLC or any affiliated person.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide directly

  • Assessment responses. If you complete the AI Readiness Assessment, we collect the name, email address, firm name, practice area(s), and the answers you submit.
  • Contact form submissions. If you contact us through the Site, we collect your name, email, and the contents of your message.
  • Tool inputs. When you use the tools hosted under "The AI Chambers" (including the chatbot), the text, files, and parameters you enter are transmitted to our servers and to the third-party AI providers described below in order to generate a response.
  • Account data (optional). Certain tools let you sign in with Google to save work. If you do, we store your Google account display name, email, and the data you explicitly save.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, navigation paths, session duration, device and browser type, approximate geographic region (derived from IP), and interactions with specific features (e.g., assessment completions, PDF downloads, consultation clicks).
  • Error and performance data. We use Sentry to capture client-side errors and performance metrics so we can diagnose issues. Sentry may collect IP address, browser environment, stack traces, and the URL where the error occurred.
  • Abuse prevention data. We use Google reCAPTCHA and Firebase App Check to distinguish humans from automated traffic. These services collect hardware and software information (device and application data) and send it to Google for analysis.
  • Rate-limiting data. To prevent abuse of AI features, we temporarily store a hashed or truncated form of your IP address alongside a per-day call counter.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the Services;
  • Generate responses from AI tools you invoke (by forwarding your inputs to the AI providers below);
  • Respond to assessment submissions, contact requests, and consultation inquiries;
  • Send you the results of an assessment or tool output by email, if you request it;
  • Monitor and protect the Services against fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Measure engagement, diagnose bugs, and develop new features; and
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not knowingly submit assessment responses, contact messages, or tool inputs for AI model training. We select third-party AI providers whose standard API terms prohibit training on data submitted through their APIs.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

When you use an AI-powered feature on the Site — including the chatbot, assessment report generator, and any tool in "The AI Chambers" — the content of your prompt and any material you attach is routed through our server (a Firebase Cloud Function) and transmitted to one or more third-party AI providers for processing. These currently include, but are not limited to:

  • Anthropic (Claude models)
  • Google (Gemini models)
  • OpenAI (GPT models)
  • Perplexity
  • Tavily (search)

Each provider's handling of data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We have selected providers that, under their standard API terms, do not train their models on data submitted through our API calls. However, providers may retain prompts for a limited period for abuse monitoring and service integrity.

Do not submit client confidences, privileged information, or any data you are ethically obligated to protect when using public-facing tools on this Site unless you have independently confirmed that doing so is consistent with your professional obligations under the Rules of Professional Conduct of your jurisdiction (including NJ RPC 1.1, 1.4, 1.6, 5.3, and 5.5) and with any applicable engagement letter or protective order.

4. Service Providers and Subprocessors

In addition to the AI providers above, we rely on vendors to operate the Services, currently including but not limited to:

  • Google / Firebase. Hosting, Cloud Functions, Firestore database, Authentication, App Check, and Analytics.
  • Sentry. Error and performance monitoring.
  • Formspree. Processing of certain contact form submissions.
  • Unsplash. Delivery of stock imagery used with blog posts.

Each of these vendors processes information only as necessary to provide their service and under their own terms and privacy notices.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and equivalent browser storage for: (a) essential functions such as authentication and session state, (b) analytics through Google Analytics 4, and (c) abuse prevention through reCAPTCHA and App Check. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Site may not function correctly if you do.

6. Data Retention

  • Assessment submissions and contact form messages are retained until we no longer need them to respond to you or to comply with our recordkeeping obligations, and then deleted or anonymized.
  • Analytics data is retained according to the default Google Analytics 4 retention setting we have configured on our property.
  • Rate-limiting records expire automatically.
  • Error reports are retained by Sentry for its standard retention period.
  • IOLTA trust-accounting uploads. When you upload a bank statement, check image, or related file into the NJ IOLTA Trust Accounting tool in The AI Chambers, the extracted transaction text is written to our Firestore database and the original file is archived to your personal storage area in Firebase Storage so you can retrieve it for audit. Access is gated by Google sign-in and is restricted to the authenticated user who uploaded the file (matched by Firebase Auth uid). Archived files are retained for the life of your account and are deleted or anonymized on request.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@adamelias.ai. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information transmitted through the Site, including TLS encryption in transit, Firebase App Check, server-side rate limiting, and access controls on our backend. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is intended for legal professionals and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States and relies on U.S.-based cloud infrastructure. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated directly where appropriate.
